Sara is a Master

My sister Sara just found out that she got into the Master's program for Accounting at BYU. So we told the kids and they seemed really excited for her. Well, yesterday Cade asks Matt, "So dad is Sara going to be with just the girls?" Matt is totally confused as says, "No, she will be with girls and boys." And then Cade says, "So Sara is going to play against Tiger Woods in the Masters?"

Matt's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Matt! I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful, kind and fun guy. We spent the weekend celebrating with Matt's family. We had a nice steak dinner with his parents and siblings on Saturday. Monday morning Matt golfed with his dad and brothers and then we went to the Angel game. I asked the kids what they liked best about their dad...
Haylie said that she is glad that he signs her up for her sports and that she is glad he takes her to all of her practices and that she really likes it when he reads to them. He just recently read the Narnia book, "Prince Caspian" to the kids.
Cade said that he likes it when Matt plays baseball with him and teaches him about sports.
Weston said that he really likes it when Matt plays games with him and his favorite game to play with Matt is Stratego.
Tanner likes it when Matt wrestles with him.
We all love him and are so grateful for all that he does for us. We hope he had a wonderful birthday.
Jared and Kelsey and their cute kids were visiting from Texas for the weekend. We had fun spending time with them and going to the beach with our cousins. They came over tonight and helped us celebrate Matt's birthday. This is Haylie & Summer.

Here's what we've been doing

It's Baseball season and we have been watching and playing a lot of baseball. Cade's team the Notre Dame Irish are in the Semi-finals of the playoffs and they are an awesome team and a lot of fun to watch.
We went to Legoland during Spring Break and fought Darth Vader!
Then we were off to Vegas for the end of our Spring Break week. I think we wore these guys out.
We went bowling with Grandma and Grandpa.
We had so much fun watching Marisa celebrate her 1st birthday. She is so cute.
Remember the 80's!
Haylie's science project was comparing the temperature at the beach to different places inland.
And last weekend was Youth Conference. Here are some of my Young Women doing the service project. They are such great girls and a ton of fun to be with.
