Disneyland

With school back in our Disneyland passes are working again. Yesterday was a minimum day and so we ditched real life and headed for Disneyland. In 4 hours we rode 10 rides. Including Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, and the new Nemo Subs. It's so nice when it's not crowded. This was the kids first time on the Submarines and so they were really excited.

Notice Tanner licking every germ off the hand rail. Mom does not freak out because he is kid #4.

Saturday we had a very unusual day of rain. All three soccer games were cancelled and so this is what the kids did. Of course it was sunny and dry by the time two to our games would have been but that was OK because we had a nice day from the normal hectic Saturdays.

Haylie got her hair cut 2 weeks ago. She looks all grown up and ready to start those pre-teen years.

Cousins

We can't get enough of Marisa!

We are all so excited to have Tim, Tanya, and Marisa living close by now. The kids love Marisa so much and they always want to be right by her. Weston asked if he could feed her on Saturday when we were babysitting her as they were moving in, and of course, Tanner was right there to help out. The pictures of Tanner and Marisa playing Gameboy are not staged and I think they are the cutest things ever. We love all our cousins and we certainly wish we could see them all much more often.

Back to School

We are back into the swing of things at school. This is my one and only year that all of my children will be going to the same school. Haylie is in 5th, Cade is in 3rd and Weston started Kindergarten, and Tanner goes to Preschool at the elementary school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Everyone was super excited for the first day. It was a lot of work getting everyone ready, (including me) and out the door by 7:20 am. On the first day of Kindergarten the parents stay with them and it only lasts an hour so today was actually Weston's first day to stay at school by himself. That top picture is of him walking away this morning. He looked so cute and as a looked around I saw several moms crying. That will be me in 2 years. So tomorrow is my first day with 3 1/2 hours to myself. I have so much planned to do but I know the time will go by fast.
