Tanner's baptism

Tanner is going to be baptized tomorrow on his 8th birthday!  We are proud of him and the young man that he is becoming.  He has all the fire and passion to do great things with his life.  This is the first great step.  I am so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  And I am grateful to be able to share my testimony with my children.

Nativity

Mary and Joseph.  Mary of course riding on the donkey.  There is no room in this inn.
Matt ran the production.  He is successfully holding back the crowd.  He did a great job organizing the kids and giving them all parts and costumes.  Very creative costumes I might add.
The sheppards are shocked to see the angel.
Wouldn't you be shocked if you were standing in a field and an angel appeared to you!
Leah was a great angel and of course she was wearing an Angel's hat.
She should win an Academy Award for the costuming.  And the acting.
Wise Men bearing gifts!
Isn't Christmas Eve the best.  I think it's awesome to also be blogging about it in February.  Better late than never!  And we love family and cousins!
It is fun to experience Christmas through the eyes of kids.
They make everything so much more fun!

Super Bowl Party

After church Cade asked me if the Deacons could come over to watch the Super Bowl.  They had fun eating junk food and hanging out.  Ryder had fun because all of the junk food was at his level and he just helped himself to the treats.  The Deacons love Ryder and they all treat him like a celebrity.

One of my favorites

I was just looking through some old pictures and I found this gem.  This is one of my favorite cell phone pictures ever!  This picture is almost a year old.  Time sure flies!

Ryder's first hair cut

It was time to say good bye to the curls.
Cade was the photographer because it took one parent to hold him and one parent to cut his hair.
I'm always sad to see the curls go but I think they look cute with the big boy hair cut.

Young Women

I was called today to be the Young Women's President.  Here's hoping we survive this again!
