Are you smarter than a 5th Grader?

Haylie left this morning for 5th grade science camp. She was so excited to go. She is going to be at an elevation of 6500 feet in the local mountains and this week it is supposed to snow everyday that she is there. How much is she actually going to learn about science? That remains the big question. I have a feeling she is going to learn more about her friends than she is about science. It is a weird feeling to send your first child off by themself for a week for the first time. She is certainly growing up and that must mean that we are too. Have fun Haylie!

Can we go? I bet I dont know half what she learns, or remember it for that fact. How fun! Will she be gone long?

She looks so beautiful in that picture! That is weird that she is going away for a week, fun! I never did anything cool like that when i was in fifth grade. Lucky girl! I hope she posts pictures on her blog about her big week away! Have a fun weekend!
